Welcome to our website (also available in Danish)! Scandinavian Divers Inc. is a resort located on the beautiful tropical island Mindoro, about 150 kilometers - or about 90 miles - south of Manila on the Philippines, far from the noise and smog of the big cities. Mindoro is one of the last tropical places left on earth that's not yet overrun by tourists. Here you can enjoy the amazing hospitality and warmth of the local population while taking in the diving experiences of a lifetime (but actually, you don't have to dive to stay with us). All at a surprisingly reasonable cost. Our dive resort is right at the edge of the water on Big Lalaguna, the most beautiful white sandy beach on Northern Mindoro (see picture to the right, which is the view from our resort). On the roof we have "Sky Bar & Restaurant"; a restaurant/bar with a world class view - easily the best in the entire area, also at night, where you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the sky. You can read more about the area by clicking on "About the area" in the main menu to the left.
|
Getting here is actually surprisingly simple: Just fly in to Manila and we can pick you up around the clock from the airport or elsewhere. Read more under "Travel & stay". Come pay us a visit and you'll get the experience of a lifetime!

Lots of dive sites within 15 minutes On Mindoro we have - within a 15 minute boat trip (most within 5-10) - access to dozens of diving sites in an area that is recognized as one of the very best places to dive in all of Asia. If you prefer to dive at sites a little further away, Scandinavian Divers Inc. has one of the fastest diving boats on Mindoro to take you there - so you spend your time in the water, not in the boat. Read more under "Dive sites". |
|
| Dive courses on all levels If you don't already have a diving certificate it's no problem - we specialize in certifying new divers in the internationally recognized PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors). Our experienced instructors teach in English and German besides the Scandinavian languages. Read more under "Dive courses". |
The courses are held continually and
wherever |

The children also get a silly grin on their faces here |
Other activities There are also other things to do around here than dive, and even children can benefit greatly from exploring the unfamiliar surroundings. Read more under "Other activities". |

Use the menu along the left side to navigate around. You don't have to pay or lay a deposit for anything from this website - all billing takes place in the Philippines after you have received the services you have asked for. The purpose of this website is to show you a bit of the area, show you what we have to offer (and give you an idea of the prices), and give you a convenient way to let us know that you are coming - we strongly recommend that you give us as much notice as you can. Check out our price calculation page to get an idea about the prices in the area. |

Most of the prices on this site are in US dollars or Philippine Pesos. Use 'Convert currency'
in the main menu to convert to your preferred currency.

A dive with 1 full tank of air is only 30 US dollars (with full equipment, boat and guide, of course!). If you have your own equipment, it's even cheaper - only 25 US dollars (still including boat and guide). The prices on our dive courses are also incredibly low at the moment: 420 US dollars for an "Open Water" course and 300 US dollars for an "Advanced Open Water" course. Read more under "Dive courses". |
You can see the water temperature in the Philippines (and the rest of the world) right now by clicking on this link. |
When you first enter the site, there will be moving waves under the menu. Sometimes, manipulating this amount of graphics may make certain machines sluggish. If you want to turn off the wave effect, click on the "Stop waves" button. The waves will disappear (the waving "Scandinavian Divers" logo will not be affected), and the button will change to "Start waves". Click the button again to turn the waves back on. The website will remember your settings the next time you visit.
